Hello and Welcome

I am Dicky Evans (officially Sir Richard Evans) and I am fighting my Parkinsons, working to avoid Dementia and aiming to Live to be 100 Years Old!!

I started this website because of suffering from Parkinson’s, to share things that inspire me to live longer and happier. I hope they help others too. It’s personal.

I report on the latest treatments related to Parkinsons, and on my greatest fear: Dementia. I also cover things that keep my spirits high such as sport and people that inspire me.

I was surprised, honoured and grateful to be awarded a Knighthood in the NEW YEARS HONOURS 2024. My thanks go to everyone over the years who has been part of the Homegrown, Flamingo, Hemingways and Cornish Pirates teams, it is your success that has resulted in this enormous honour.

Another surprise to then find myself on Wikipedia.
